Chapter 25

1. What attacks the last three tributes? 

Some capital mutations of wolves made from the tributes' bodies attacked the last three tributes. They way Katniss could tell this was by their eyes, Because Their eyes were the same of the dead tributes. 

2. How does Katniss use her last arrow?

 She shot it at Cato's skull, when he was lying injured on the floor inside the Cornucopia, to end his misery because the mutts were slowly eating him up.

3. What happens when the Gamemakers revoke the rule change?

 They wanted only one winner to win and Katniss or Peeta refuse to kill themselves or the other. So they both choose to kill themselves by eating the poisonous berries that also killed Foxface.   

4. Who wins the Hunger Games?
 Katniss and Peeta both win because they were both going to kill themselves so the gamemakers got scared and let them both win. But unfortunately for them this might arouse problems with the capitol.

Chapter 26

1. How does the Capitol heal Katniss?

 She heals Katniss by healing all her scars and her ear. Also they make her skinny. Also, they help her with one of the scars she had that couldn't take off.

2. What does Haymitch reveal to Katniss before she sees the crowd?
 She is in trouble for showing the capitol up in the arena.

Chapter 27

1. What goes on during the final interview?

During the final interview, Caesar interviews Peeta and Katniss together. They show their affection alott. Caesar asks her when it was that she first fell in love with him. Katniss made sure she answered Caesar in what haymitch would love to hear.

2. What happened to Peeta's leg?
Peeta's leg had to be amputated. They had to cut off his leg because they couldn't do anything else to it. They gave him a new fake leg. Katniss thought it was her fault, but Peeta told her he would've been dead without her. 

3. Why does Katniss feel torn in the end? 
Katniss feels torn in the end because she is really confused with her feelings toward Peeta and Gale. She doesn't know if her feelings toward Peeta and her in the Games were real or fake. Peeta found out that her romance was fake, and he wanted to know if it was real. She said she didn't know and she knows that she reaaly hurt Peeta.

4. What does Peeta realize?
Peeta realizes that all of Katniss' romance in the Games was fake.He also finds out that all this romance was a plan between Katniss and Haymitch. He feels so stupid because of what Katniss and Haymtich did. Now he doesn't know if Katniss really loves him or even care about him.

Chapter 21-24

Chapter 21


1. Who's the first to get their pack?
The girl Katniss nicknamed Foxface. She got it first because she sprinted for it at the beginning. Which was smart because nobody could run after her because everybody else still needed their bags.

2. Who catches Katniss?

 The girl named Clove knocked her on her head and killed her.

3. Why does Thresh let Katniss go? 

He let's her go because she helped out Rue for her last hours. So he did it so he wouldn't have to owe Katniss any other favors.

4. Why does Katniss think Cato will go after Thresh and not her?

It's because Thresh has his pack Cato really needs. But as a precaution she doesn't stop running until she's at the cave.

Chapter 22

1. How does Katniss compare Peeta to Gale?

 She said Peeta life was always easy. He is the son of a baker so was always well fed. Never had to worry about food. Unlike Gale he has to hunt for food with her.
2. What happens with the weather?

 The heavy rain all of sudden stops and the weather is warm and sunny

3. How does Katniss get the feast? 

She acts romantic with Peeta and then Haymitch sends them some supplies.

Chapter 23

1. Why does Thresh's death affect Katniss? 

It affects her because he spared her life and he would like him as a friend. 
2. Who is left in the arena?

It is only Katniss, Peeta, Cato, and Foxface.
3. What Katniss' fears if she wins the Games?

She fears she won't have nothing todo because she won't need to hunt and that all she has ever done her hole life.

4. What happens to Foxface?

 She get's piosened by some berries she stole from Katniss and Peeta.

Chapter 24

1. How do the Gamemakers try to drive the last tributes together? They dried up all the lakes except the one that was near the cornucopia so they would all be forced to go to the Cornucopia.  But before that they took all of the lakes fishes and creatures away so when Peeta and Katniss where walking back to their camp Katniss didn't kill any fish.

2. How does Katniss feel about Cato? She thought that he was more slippery than Foxface and powerful and well trained but she wasn't really sure if he was smart. That he could easily easily lose his judgement if he was angry.
3. How do the final three meet up? When Katniss and Peeta were waiting at the lake for Cato  he came out  running out of a bush being chased by something.Which later turned out to be mutts.(Mutations)

Chapter 17-20

Chapter 17

1. What happens to Katniss in the explosion?

Katniss get very hurt and her injury is really bad.During the explosion her left ear started to bled.She looses her hearing in the left ear.She falls while the careers camp is still exploding.

2. Why does Katniss leave the rendezvous point?

Katniss leave the rendezvous point because Rue doesn't show up.A long period of time passes and there is no sign of her.She goose out looking for Rue around were she might be.Then she follows a mocking jay  birds sound then hears Rue yelling out to her. 

3. What happens to Rue?

Rue gets in a trap like a big net.A spear hit her in her body.Katniss kills district 1 boy to get to Rue.She gets Rue down but the injury is to bad to heal.She sings to Rue and while she does Rue dies while flickering her eyes and holding katniss's hand.

Chapter 18

1. What does Katniss do for Rue?

Katniss holds Rues hand and stays by her side.She sing a song to Rue before she dies completely.She says that she will the games she promises.She says when she wins she will win for her and Rue.

2. Who sponsors a gift for her? What is it?

Haymitch sponsors a gift for her.He sends her a piece of bread.The bread is from district 11 were Rue was from.She says something in like thanking the district for making the bread and feels bad for those who can even get a piece of bread.

3. How does Katniss' attitude change after Rue's death? 4. What rule change do the Gamemakers announce?

Katniss will take down anyone of her opponents after Rue dies.She will do whatever it takes to be victorious in the hunger games.The promise she told Rue about her wining for the both of them will happen.The rule change because you can work with the other tribute from your district.If you team up you can both win the games.

Chapter 19

1. How does Katniss find Peeta?

Katniss finds Peeta by going back pass the burned campsite.Climbed up some rock to a new piece she has not seen.She calls out to him and he makes some noise.She goes and sees him under her feet in a cave.

2. What is Peeta's true talent?

Peetas true talent is camouflage.He is good because he puts the icing on the cake gave him a good advantage.He is really good at it and convincing.He put mud and twigs on him to blend in with the ground.

3. How does Katniss treat Peeta's wound?

Katniss puts that burn cream on him.She puts those leaves on the wasp sting on his body.She put leaves on the cut tries to clean out all the pus.She wraps it in a white band so that it could heal with the time

4. Where do they hide out?

The both hideout at the cave close to the stream.

5. How and why do they get the pot of broth?

The got there pot of broth because Katniss kisses Peeta.Katniss didn't kiss him on the check but on his lips.Haymitch send them food for that one kiss so peeta would eat.

Chapter 20

1. What is Peeta's condition?

 He has a high fever and he can barely stand up because of the cut on his leg. His leg is still  swelling. His stings are going down though. So he still need someone to care for him or some medicine to take care of himself. Because he got blood poisoning.

2. How do the Gamemakers try to entice the tributes? What does Katniss think they have for her?

 They have a gathering for them at the cornucopia. They have a backpack with supplies they really need. She thinks it's just a trap to make a battle. Just for some action for the capital. But she thinks they have the medicine Katniss needs for Peeta.
3. What does Haymitch send Katniss? Why?

 Haymitch sends her some medical syrup. It's for making people knock out. He sent it for her so Katniss can go get the supplies. Since Peeta refused to let Katniss go by her self. Then Katniss had to trick him to drink it so then Katniss can go while Peeta's blacked out.
